One of the things we miss the most about Brazil is, without a doubt, the food. There’s nothing like that freshly fried pastel, a slice of Brazilian-style pizza, or a cold glass of sugarcane juice on a hot day. Thankfully, over time we’ve found a few amazing spots around Orlando that bring us right back home. Here are some of our favorite places to satisfy our Brazilian cravings:
🥟 Family Pastel (485 S Kirkman Rd, Orlando, FL 32811)
This food truck is our go-to when we’re in the mood for pastel and sugarcane juice. They offer a big variety of both savory and sweet pastéis (yes, Nutella is an option 😍), and their caldo de cana (sugarcane juice) is the best we’ve had in the U.S. It’s always fresh, sweet, and full of that nostalgic flavor.
They also serve hot dogs and other delicious snacks — but honestly, we keep going back for the pastel!
But the real highlight here is the ultimate Brazilian combo: pastel with fresh sugarcane juice! Nothing beats that classic pairing. If sugarcane juice isn’t your thing, another perfect option is to order your pastel with an ice-cold Guaraná (a Brazilian soda) — ideally served with ice and a slice of orange, just the way we drink it back in Brazil.

🍕 Pie Fection (3120 S Kirkman Rd, Orlando, FL 32811)
Looking for that classic Brazilian-style pizza with catupiry, milho (corn), or chocolate? Pie Fection has it all. Their menu is packed with creative options that remind us of the best pizzerias back home. It’s the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a chill date night when you’re craving that unique Brazilian pizza experience.

🧆 Sfiha’s
We already talked about this gem in another post, so if you haven’t checked it out yet, click here to read more!
They serve sfihas (mini open-faced savory pies) in all flavors — and trust us, we’re addicted. It’s also one of the few places where we can get our fix of coxinha, bolinha de queijo, and pastel in one stop. Don’t forget to order the strawberry juice with your 4-cheese sfiha, and save room for dessert!

🍣 Musashi Sushi Lounge
Yes, we know it’s not traditionally Brazilian, but if you’re Brazilian, you know we do sushi a little differently — and we’re obsessed.
Musashi is the best Brazilian-style sushi we’ve found anywhere in the U.S. They have two locations (Metrowest and Kissimmee), and every time we go, we order our favorites: the strawberry djo, salmon carpaccio, salmon djo with cream cheese, and hot harumaki.

🥩 Eskina Restaurant (5749 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746)
A super cozy and casual Brazilian spot where you can eat like you’re back in São Paulo. Eskina offers all kinds of delicious dishes — from grilled meats like picanha, to classic appetizers and full plates. They often have live music, and even a play area for kids, which makes it a great spot for family outings.

🍽️ Camila’s Restaurant (5458 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819)
A popular Brazilian buffet located in Orlando that serves traditional dishes at an affordable price. You pay once and eat all you want — and yes, they sometimes have sushi too!
Everything is freshly made, and the dessert section is a dream — including our beloved pudim! It’s a must-visit if you want a little taste of everything.

We’re always on the lookout for more Brazilian flavors here in Florida, so if you have any favorite spots, let us know in the comments! And if you try any of the places above, tell them the Brazilian Diaries sent you. 😉
